Sure there are Young Earth Creationists in the USA, in Australia and a handful in Britain and New Zealand, but evolution and theism are perfectly compatible.

True, of course. Unfortunately, for those on this board who realize this, it is preaching to the choir (for lack of a better metaphor); and for those who have been indoctrinated to believe in religious superstition (those who have "drunk the Kool-Aid", so to speak), this truth will only fall on their deaf-to-reality ears. But what you say remains the truth, regardless.
