Poe may have died from hydrophobia. This was based on the symptoms logged by his doctor.

Pope John Paul I always bugged me.
Why him. The rapidity of its occurrence always struck me as odd;though who am I to judge the fitness of a 65 year old Italian? But after reading God's Bankers by Gerald Posner, I just was bit by the conspiracy bug that he found out something...sinister.

Gus Grissom, died, along with his fellow astronauts Ed White and Roger B. Chaffee, on January 27, 1967, when the Apollo 1 Command Module interior caught fire and burned, during a plugs-out test, resulting in the crew being asphyxiated... While it is true, that: "Un-Determined" accidents, such as these, happen all the time... and are usually never considered to be "Mysterious & Odd"... So, why do you find the accident to be so "Mysterious & Odd", that you would mention it this thread?
