...but he missed an opportunity in the last episode: LOL is that metallica? i didnt like the music so much this season seemed they combined all of the themes for a few battles but i dont think the composer really did anything knew past seasons had awesome themes

Should we expect to hear Or Wolf And Man in the finale? Saw them play it live long ago, late 1991 or 92. The music has always been good, no matter what the rest was, apart from the Daenerys crap which I could never abide. That straight, hymnic, choral-like stuff always disgusted me long before there was a Game Of Thrones. I'm an Ockeghem/Josquin/Tallis guy. The last time I played Ockeghem's requiem, a miracle happened. Maybe I should do it again. It was written for Louis XI. Here, let's see if it works:

Watching an interesting video about the music:
The first thing that strikes me 5mn into it is that the White Walker theme and the dragon theme are basically the inversion of each other. One is a descending minor 3rd and the other an ascending one. I have said before that Ice and Fire are the two evils in the story, that White Walkers open the first season and dragons close it but this just goes one step beyond in making them matching opposites.
