Ax'Em (aka The Weekend it Lives) is one of the worst horror films ever made. However along with Saving Christmas and Birdemic its one of my favorite bad movies. The film is basically a generic slasher film. A deranged man goes about with a machete and hatchet killing of a group of young people on vacation. Usually I like these kind of films but this one is so horribly made in every way. Horribly filmed, acted, directed, written and everything in between. But its so bad that its very fun to watch. Its along the lines on Manos The Hands of Fate.

Yeah I heard about this one. I just don’t understand how anybody thought it would be ok to have someone get killed looking like they got “zanied to death”, as Cinema Snob put it.

This title often comes up in discussions of entertainingly terrible movies. It's always intrigued me for that reason.
Looking at the Wiki page I see that the director's father was the head of the NAACP. Pretty fucking strange. Not that it means anything, but you'd think a guy from a fairly influential family might have slightly better resources than this.
