I prefer the California peaches, the Georgia peaches I see at the grocery stores here in Alabama are usually very hard and rot before they ripen.

hmm. I Miss being able to eat actual peaches
I finally found a fruit I really liked (I'm very picky and don't really eat a lot of fruits or veggies. can't stand the way most feel in my mouth when I'm chewing them) and I'm allergic
Well At least it doesn't affect me if it's cooked or juice

The stores all have peaches but they are as hard as rocks and have no smell, even the ones from California. There is no point in buying them, they will rot before they are ripe enough to eat. Last year and the year before, I bought some really good California peaches from both Publix and Walmart, they smelled and tasted delicious. I wonder what happened. I'm not a fan of canned fruit but I guess if I feel like peaches, I'll just have to buy them canned. Frozen fruit has a weird taste to me.
