None, but I am weeding out books from my To Be Read list.
Even though I like sci-fi and fantasy tv shows / movies, I found I tend not to like those genres in book form, with only a few exceptions. So, those got purged.
I like horror books, but I've given up on H P Lovecraft. I completed one of his books and quit two others. Consider them weeded.

Too many. I've been weeding hundreds of books from my library for the past few years. Recently I gave away most of my Margery Allingham collection. After reading some of her work I figured out that she's just not my cup of tea.

About the same as Harry Potter.

I thought I stumbled upon a treasure trove of public domain horror with Lovecraft, then I read At the Mountains of Madness. It was an endless description of architecture. I do have a bit of a soft spot for Harry Potter. The Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone taught me that reading didn't have to suck. Before then, I had only read agonizingly dull books in school. That was when I was 13, though. I don't know how they would hold up now that I'm in my 30s. I didn't read beyond the third book, either.

How can an awesome movie like ReAnimator come from Lovecrafts tedious writing?

I don't know. He has some seriously devoted fans.

I read and dispose of all paperback thriller type books, I only keep non fiction and a few favourite fiction which I go on to get signed first edition copies of if at all possible.
