I'm seeing it tomorrow in an IMAX theater and staying for the end credit. You know they are going to show something at the end of it!

What an incredible movie this was the fights in this movie were awesome, there are all kinds of Easter eggs spread out in this film of things to come should both this film and Godzilla vs Kong is a success. The sound track was also great and seeing it in IMAX is an absolute must see!
I'll be seeing it again just to see some of the stuff I missed the first time! All Hail The King.

Yeah, I saw it over the weekend in 3D!
Awesome movie, the best American Godzilla movie hands down so far (yeah, I know, out of a whopping total of three, with the first unrelated one from 1998 being a total dog of a movie -- Dogzilla!). But still!
And I loved the specifically Japanese elements they brought back that were missing in the first proper American Godzilla movie, the 2014 precursor.
Next up -- IMAX!

So is this gonna break even? It's at $300m right now. It doesn't need to double it's budget to break even they are more then happy with what they already have, to them it is already a success. Would they like it to be better of course they would but they are not worried about it. We are getting Godzilla vs Kong next year regardless of how bad or how well Godzilla 2: King Of The Monsters does.

$300 million in North America only or worldwide?
If it's $300 million in North America, that's pretty impressive after two weeks of release.

So was this any good? Better than the last one? It is by far better then the last one but still has it's problems. But next year is the big one that many are waiting for Godzilla vs Kong will decide the fate of the Monsterverse if it continues onward or not?
