She had a really memorable scene in Midnight Cowboy. Rest in peace, Sylvia.

She had a really memorable scene in Midnight Cowboy. Rest in peace, Sylvia. It took several minutes to remember which part she played in "The Sentinel." It took longer to remember which part she played in "Midnight Cowboy." I felt a little silly for not identifying her right away, but maybe the best compliment an actor or actress can get is, "I didn't know that was you."

I remember her from Midnight Cowboy, but also as the realtor in Wall Street who tells Charlie Sheen: "You gotta think of a ladyfriend when you're finished wolfing around. ...Of course, I'm taken."
