A really smart move by Sarri, leaving the problem of a Hazardless team to someone else after bringing them the Europa League cup and CL football for next season.

Can't understand the negativity towards him from certain quarters. He joined very late before the season, I expected him, like Emery to take a season to "bed in" and start a rebuild,. yet people don't seem happy with what he achieved. As Wullie says, he leaves with his head high and Chelsea will now struggle. It's hard to see next season as anything less than a rerun of this one with the top two nailed on and the other 4 switching positions throughout the season. The only interest will be in seeing if another team can up their game to become a competitive 7th and make it a to 7 rather than a top 6. Money wise it's hard to see it though without big money takeovers. Newcastle could upset the applecart if a middle eastern takeover happens but it's still up in the air at present and Benitez has 14 days left on his contract.
