12:49am ET - Cinemax (276)
I give it a 10/10 - it's my 8th favorite movie ever. Even RT gives it a 92%. The second watch was best, but even after that, I kept finding more things -- I love that Cassavetes doesn't spoon-feed his audience.

I don't have skinemax. I honestly didn't even know it still existed. But it's pretty cool theyre playing a great and somewhat obscure movie like this.

This movie was disappointing for me. Maybe it's because I expected it to be a very serious dramatic film with high production values, but instead, it looked and felt like a glorified home movie. It was almost as if it was filmed with a 70s camcorder.

It was almost as if it was filmed with a 70s camcorder. I thought it was quite dramatic... At least you gave it a chance.

It was almost as if it was filmed with a 70s camcorder. It comes across as extremely raw and personal. So I think Cassavetes succeeded in it's feeling like a home movie. And I don't know why you were expecting high production values. The director practically invented the American indie movie.
