I don't like it when religious leaders preach partisan politics, and putting this in a prayer and proclaiming that Jesus is backing a candidate is about as low as it can go in this regard. The fact that Paula White was allowed to do this shows how far America has drifted from the vision the Founding Fathers had at the onset of our nation.
"Let every demonic network that has aligned itself against the purpose, against the calling of President Trump, let it be broken, let it be torn down in the name of Jesus."
"I declare that President Trump will overcome every strategy from hell and every strategy from the enemy," s
"I secure his calling, I secure his purpose, I secure his family, and we secure victory in the name which is above every name ... the name of Jesus Christ."
Her attack on the "demonic" media was an added bonus.
I don't think God picked Trump to be president. I do not think it appropriate to open a political rally with a prayer specific to one religion, and in this case not even a prayer that a majority of Christians would be comfortable with...I know I am not.
Paula White is a proponent of "prosperity" Christianity, that if you are rich it is a sign of God's favor. This is false in my opinion. She is probably considered a fake or heretic by a majority of Christians that know about her. I guess that makes her a good fit with Trump.
There is a video of her whole prayer in the link.

Was she praying on behalf of a church? If so it could be in trouble.
Otherwise people can pray about anything on their own time.
It’s odd behavior except to highlight the very narrow demographics of people who support that moron.

Why do people pretend that idiot was a nobody? He was famous or infamous for 30 years and discussed politics as much as anyone...or at least his whacky version of it. But I totally get why that would be the extent of the reason he was elected. The Apprentice was kinda popular after all.

If it's a campaign rally, I don't see a problem with it.

But ffs stop judging him on the extremely biased dishonest bs constantly fed to you from liberal outlets like CNN, NY times, Washington Post, Vox and Facebook which do nothing but publish articles designed to ridicule, demean and slander him. Or stuff he said or allegedly done decades ago. Start judging him on his policies. He hasn’t done too badly on that front.

While I would not really claim that Jesus Christ is directly backing a specific candidate I do think as a general rule it's obvious that Jesus Christ is more inline with conservatives than liberals because liberals support plenty of serious violations of God's moral law which is abortion etc. I think the abortion issue pretty much tells you which political party has more respect for human life in general. hell, liberals have to sugar-coat the abortion issue attempting to label it as a 'choice' when it's really a basic life issue. so what's really happening is liberals put a persons choice higher than a persons right-to-life, which is obviously not the correct way of looking at things as once someone loses respect for life at it's most innocent stage, what other moral lines will they cross that should not be crossed. or another way to look at it... the left is basically getting more and more opposed to Christianity which is proven good here in the USA and other civilized countries. that's a red flag (hell, they even seem to be okay with Islam but not with Christianity and those two are pretty much opposed). so while I can't outright call all liberals 'godless', I think that political party as a whole is guided by the godless as they tend to be the most disordered which abortion being pretty much their biggest violation of God's moral law and once someone fails to get that issue right, human life is already of lesser value to these types and once they cross that moral line, what other ones won't they cross? ; where does it end?. ; because once someone see's morality as subjective, instead of based on God's objective truth, it's a matter off time before they go off-the-rails and that's what's happening on the left as the years/decades pass. so at least in some ways I do think Trump is pushing things in a direction that's better for the country where as liberals are pretty much tearing things down (basically they have mostly become anti-USA/Christian) and the mainstream media is pretty much opposed to the truth/order. You are right, it is clearly false. it's not just your opinion, it's the way it is. CoolJGS☺I would look more at actions than what's said. the mainstream liberal media will never say anything positive about him. he could cure cancer or give everyone a million dollars and he would still be Hitler to many. lol sure, Trump does not speak like a typical politician. but personally I like it, as it's funny etc. I think a lot of people like him as he speaks more like a normal person instead of just being to worried about saying crap not to "offend" others etc like the typical politician does.

If it's a campaign rally, I don't see a problem with it. In which venues would you have a problem with it? When the activity is an official act of the government. Such as the opening of the day's session in Congress. Or when military officers force subordinates to endure group prayer as an official act of the US government.

Well then you must REALLY hate American politics then. Ted Cruz pretty much billed himself as "God's Chosen candidate" during the GOP primaries. And then he ended up losing to a reality TV buffoon with bad hair. So much for that.
