I thought he was very good as John Clare/'The Creature' in the TV series Penny Dreadful. I was surprised to see he's returning for the new series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, though he'll be playing a different role this time. Originally, I wasn't that interested in the new series due to Eva Green not being present...but since it has Natalie Dormer in it, I'll be checking it out.

I admit I was first drawn to him just to check out "what Roy's son was like" but over the years he has become a favourite of mine. His Frankenstein's creature is for me one of the best, and his presence in the Bond movies is very welcome. Loved him in the first Black Mirror as well.

I intend to eventually, but I've always been drawn to Leigh's non-period movies
