Andy Dick in The Lion King 2. Not because Andy is an esteemed actor, but rather for Disney hiring such a dick and degenerate for what could be their most popular franchise. this is only fresh in my head because I watched Lion King 2 recently and was like wtf. Well back then Andy Dick wasn't seen as big a, well, dick, and was a regular on the popular program Newsradio and was doing all kinds of random work here and there on other popular content so its not that big of a surprise I guess. However, why they decided to bring him back for The Lion Guard after all that had come out about him is indeed a mystery, his voice isn't even that distinctive.

Michael Caine in "JAWS: THE REVENGE"
Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Steven Spielberg, and Michael Caine in "AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER".
Well with Austin Powers In Goldmember Mike Myers pretty much ruled the world at that moment in time, the first Austin Powers gained instant cult following and its sequel did crazy good business when it came out, that and Shrek was also a colossal hit and also a critical hit as well. To touch on Spielberg being in it as a cameo though the movie's director Jay Roach had previously done Meet The Parents which was a DreamWorks co-production, and Myers had just gotten off of Shrek so it seemed quite likely they all formed a good working relationship respectively and collectively.

Jim Carrey in Sonic The Hedgehog. While I thought he was great in it it was just odd to see him in a video game movie role. Always thought he’d never do something like a video game movie so imagine my shock when he was announced as Robotnik.
