And finally after more than a month, we now have our results. There were a few surprise results (at least for me, like how low MOS was) but this list had more predictable results than the MCU tournament methinks.
Anyway, here's the rankings. What do you guys think?

Surprised at how high Returns is ranked. I predicted it being much lower, seeing as it doesn’t get the attention it deserves, IMO. Turns out I’m wrong.

Returns had always been my favorite Batman movie so I'm glad, but I admit I was surprised that it had originally tied Begins for 3rd place. Didn't think other people thought that highly of it.

It seems to have gained a loyal online following in the past 5-10 years. I’m not certain what the reason for that is, but I’ve seen a few people who have said that it’s their favorite Batman movie. I guess if you’re a fan of Tim Burton, the movie very much has his trademark style.

I'm too shocked at how low Man of Steel is on the list. I know The Dark Knight Rises polarizes some people, but I think it's better than Aquaman and Watchmen.

I’m pretty baffled that JL is higher up than MoS. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone who has viewed the former as anything more than a way to kill two hours.

But I'm surprised BvS is higher than MOS.

But i love it, it's my favorite Batman movie after TDK. And i know it works better as a Tim Burton movies than a Batman one, but i love it anyway

It’s almost just as good as the 89 film to me.

Batman Returns has found new life lately. I think people are coming around to love it for what it is.

Batman Returns was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. I still like it more than Batman 89.
Also surprised about MOS being being lower than Justice League. I’m not really a fan of either but MOS feels like a much more coherent film than JL.

I’m not really a fan of either but MOS feels like a much more coherent film than JL. I guess it depends on what you mean by “coherent”. MoS is a film that clearly has more of an actual vision and voice to it, but JL is more straightforward and easier to digest. Still, I haven’t heard about very many people who think it’s better (or less bad) than MoS.

Interesting indeed. It's no surprise that The Dark Knight is #1 but some other rankings are strange.
Batman Returns as high as #4? The Dark Knight Rises all the way down at #12? Man of Steel at #16 and below Justice League?

Interesting indeed. It's no surprise that The Dark Knight is #1 but some other rankings are strange. Batman Returns as high as #4? The Dark Knight Rises all the way down at #12? Man of Steel at #16 and below Justice League? There was a lot of weird rock/paper/scissors type of votes going on. For example, in their respective matches Superman beat WW, Batman (89) tied with WW, and Batman beat Superman. Or even better, WW beat Batman Returns, Batman Returns beat Batman Begins, Batman Begins beat WW. Then in their rematch, Begins beat Returns. I think we had one or two of these things in the MCU match but nowhere near as common as here. Implies that the voters were a bit inconsistent in their choices, but then again that was the whole purpose of the round robin tournament. People might have a specific ranking list in their head but when matched 1v1 they might find they prefer a movie over another even if that movie ranked lower in their mental list. The round robin scoring was meant to capture that. TDKR surprisingly lost in almost all its matches against decent (i.e. non-crap) movies.

I thought MOS would rank higher than JL I'm pleasantly surprised at how high Shazam ranked and Watchmen should actually rank lower IMO

Well, I'm not surprised at how low MoS abd TDKR are. They're pretty contentious films, but the camp who likes them is louder.
What does surprise me is Watchmen over V For Vendetta. I suspect because some people voted without seeing the latter.

Bumping this to see where people would rank WW84, Birds of Prey, and the Snyder's JL cut.
