I have never read anything by Elmore Leonard, but I got curious about his books after re-watching Tarantino’s “Jackie Brown” recently. Any fans here, and if so, which books would be a good introduction to his work?

I've only read Glitz. Wouldn't recommend it to be honest.

His Western short stories are collected and very good is well if you are into Westerns.

I wasn't thinking about his western books but I like the idea of starting with short stories, so I might do just that.

The only Elmore Leonard book I've read so far is Out Of Sight. It was pretty good. And it was made into a movie with Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney.
