A cute attempt to try and deflect, but I ain't playing that game, you are a hypocrite and a pretty lousy troll.

I need for help for wanting serious comic movies like they are in the books ok? You guys seem in denial What was so serious about Venom? What was so serious about Hellboy? What was so serious about X-Men Origins: Wolverine(A movie you have defended in the past)? Also you got your super serious comic movies like 2017's Logan and 2012's The Dark Knight Rises but you deemed them both as being mediocre. Yeah, even del Toro's films pretty much felt surprisingly lighthearted - especially the second film.

Did you actually get to see 'Dark Phoenix'? Yup I actually posed my brief review on MCU Fan Forum as a reply to someone else's thread. And yes, the film was @$$.

Well actually I am referring to the NEW Hellboy movie, which was ranked here, not touching upon the del Toro films.

Troll gets busted! The problem with being a dishonest troll is you have to keep track of all your lies. Just ask dcfan how difficult that can be!

Well, in that case, that film is full of blood and gore and is R-rated, so unlike sanitized kiddie craps directed by del Toro, it’s actually mature! Haven’t you heard?!

Screen capping a guy's posts from two years ago? You "troll busters" are infinitely worse than DC Fan and you make this board intolerable. Go eat a cupcake!

Dark Phoenix Shazam! Hellboy Avengers Endgame Spider-Man Far From Home Captain Marvel If you rank Dark Phoenix higher than Shazam!, and Dark Phoenix and Hellboy(the new one) higher than Endgame, Far From Home, and Captain Marvel your opinions on what makes for a quality superhero movie will be for sure questioned by many people especially those of genre filmmaking. Just saying. I would rank Dark Phoenix above Captain Marvel and you know I am not bias against Marvel. I think Dark Phoenix has higher highs but lower lows. It has better action for sure, emotional beats land better thanks to previous films building up the relationships, and I think Jean has a more interesting character arc(if you remember her development in Apocalypse). However, it has generic aliens and lacks levity unlike Captain Marvel.

Avengers Endgame & Spiderman Far from Home are the two obvious winners. Big time. Captain Marvel & Shazam are a step down, but still respectable movies. Dark Phoenix & Hellboy are clearly the worst of the worst. Utter disasters. Both should dominate the Razzies for 2019. How was Dark Phoenix a disaster? I understand it lacks levity but it’s not a poorly made movie for sure.

Did you actually get to see 'Dark Phoenix'? Yup Jesus, what was so bad about it? I can understand not getting into it because of its lack of levity and lame villain.

How was Dark Phoenix a disaster? It was a critical and box office bomb. I know and that partly has nothing to do with the film’s own merit(it had some seriously misleading marketing). But I wanted to hear your opinion.

One can quibble over a RT score +/- 10% percent or so, but 23% is clearly in the disaster category. Can you name a single halfway decent movie that received less than a 30%?

To answer your question, there is the 2004 Punisher. I’ve seen Dark Phoenix get criticize purely for not following the source material in a few reviews. lol The RT meter is just the percentage of reviews that recommend a film to be seen in theaters. Even reviews that recommend films as a rental are filed under “rotten”.
