This movie will be shown on TCM on 30 JUL during a night of science fiction classics. I don't know which version of the movie is being shown and I don't remember ever seeing the movie listed on TCM before.

I don’t like Disney either, but you’re seriously saying that you’ll never watch anything Star Wars related again (not even the OT) just because Disney owns it?

It's his god given right to not help produce income for a company he hates.

I'm pretty sure TCM has already paid Disney.

I watch them regularly. I've owned them way before Disney ever bought the franchise. What I won't do is to contribute to Disney's Star Wars sales in anyway. This includes not watching the movies on TV. I won't reward Disney for their conduct.

I'm pretty sure TCM has already paid Disney. When it comes to TV, content is only as valuable as the amount of people watching it. If people don't watch it, it becomes significantly less valuable to broadcasters, which in turn, decreases the amount of money their willing to pay to Disney for the privilege of airing it.

TCM is not broadcast, it's cable. They don't even have commercials on TCM so it is a completely different business model. If TCM were primarily concerned with viewer numbers it would have turned into another AMC by now.
TNT regularly shows Star Wars movies with commercials and it must get more than enough viewers because it keeps showing them.
BTW are you a Nielsen household? If not your viewing habits don't matter to anyone. Disney makes billions of dollars from box office alone, not to mention, TV and streaming, and merchandising, and product placement, and theme parks, etc. But if you think you are making a difference by refusing to watch a movie on a basic cable channel, knock yourself out.
Also, I won't be surprised if TCM gets some of their best ratings ever from Star Wars.

HBO is cable as well, but they still worry about what their viewers/subscribers are watching. The shows that don't pull in enough viewership get canceled ( Vinyl sadly being one of them). I most certainly will - especially when I can just pop in my DVD's and pause/watch them whenever I want instead.

Do you have a de-specialized set? Yes, I do. I also have the 2004 DVD set (I believe that was the year at least) that Lucas released with the theatrical editions of the OT on bonus discs.

The DVDs with the theatrical versions were actually released in 2006. The first OT set (without the theatrical bonus discs) came out in 2004. I got HD de-specialized editions on Blu Ray that are glorious.
