Exhibit A: -DC-Fan: “MCU superheroes are nothing but murderous scoundrels!” -Beast turns murderous throughout the entire film.
Exhibit B: -DC-Fan: “MCU superheroes endanger civilians!” -There is a fight scene between X-Men and Brotherhood of Mutants that causes all sorts of civilian damage.
Exhibit C: -DC-Fan: “MCU is a SJW propaganda!” -X-Women scene. Enough said.
But since Dark Phoenix is not an MCU film, he said it’s the best comic book film of the year.

And it was handled absolutely horribly.

And it was handled absolutely horribly. Why do you think so? I thought it well in the context of the series.

And it was handled absolutely horribly. Why do you think so? I thought it well in the context of the series. First of all, that X-Women scene takes place in the middle of an entirely different conversation and pretty much comes the f**k out of nowhere, not to mention that the scene is out of context since it takes place almost right after 2 MALE MUTANTS do most of the jobs. And the handling of Jean Grey and her story was so half-@$$ed and all over the place to a point where I just couldn’t invest into her arc. Seriously, her personality seems to be all over the place in this film.

Jean’s arc wasn’t really half-assed considering that it was partly build-up in Apocalypse and I am not talking about her killing Apoccy. She had a whole subplot about her lack of control over her powers and being afraid that she would hurt people in the future.

Hell, that was pretty much Cyclops's story in Apocalypse, also.

How? It looks and feels NOTHING like an MCU film. And Kinberg being an MCU fan means jack sh!t.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't based on how the scene happened. If you want to use a "failed joke" excuse, 'Men in Black International' would be a better example.
