I am halfway through "season 4" of Veronica Mars and I am loving it so far - but then I was a big fan when the show aired originally, so it's no stretch for me.
Anyone else watching?

VM has been on my watch list for years, but I have yet to get to it. Someday I plan on checking it out.

I love Kristen Bell. I think she is gorgeous (although I am not sure about her dress style). And I think she is a good actress. But I tried watching Veronica Mars. I found it very juvenile. I couldn't make it through season one.

Jep Gambardella I'm re-watching seasons 1-3 before I watch season 4, since it's been so long. Do I need to watch the movie from a few years ago as well to be fully up-to-speed for the new season?

It will certainly help. I wish I had rewatched the movie before starting season 4. The current situation of some of the characters at the start of season 4 is a direct consequence of events from the movie. And if you have never seen the movie (as opposed to "seen it but don't remember details") you will definitely be left wondering "how the hell did Veronica and Logan get from there to here?".

Thanks, that's good information to know. Had a feeling that was probably the case, but just wanted to verify it.

I do want to revisit the first season of Veronica Mars, see how it holds up.
I've heard some wildly divergent opinions of the new series.
