I think DISNEY has every right in the world to defend themselves and fight back in whatever manner they wish if Fans are going to go lower than Donald Trump and attack in cruel fashion something that the people at DISNEY believe in and support. It isn't cruel for fans to criticize the movies. There are a few bad apples that harassed the cast and that was wrong, but as a whole, as a majority, we're only talking about how much Episode 8 hurt the franchise. Nothing wrong with that. Meanwhile, Disney used their brand name to go below the belt. It wasn't a few bad apples in this case...they made it official. They allowed their director to continuously harass/antagonize fans, and for the person who is suppose to be in charge of overlooking all of Lucasfilm, to accuse longtime fans of racism/misogyny/xenophobia/etc. When you have someone in a leadership position attacking fans, that's not only misguided, it's arrogant and foolish as well. Disney encouraged this. It was bullshit. Prior to this behavior, I would have been willing to pay for the standalone movies (choosing to ignore anymore episodic movies after Episode 8). I won't now. The reason is that I would be contributing to securing the jobs of people towards the top like Kathleen Kennedy who don't understand the Star Wars galaxy, don't care to understand it, and want to label all those who criticize their direction (or lack of...) as racists, misogynists, etc. I will not enable abuse towards fans or the stories/characters/mythology we've come to love for the past 40 years.

Doubtful...
I've seen the first six episodes and the holiday special.
That was enough for me.

Okay but by boycotting "EPISODE 9", Fans are doing more than just punishing DISNEY and Kathleen Kennedy, they are also punishing all of the people that worked on "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" that had absolutely nothing to do with "THE LAST JEDI", Rian Johnson, or anything else about that movie. Do they deserve that Punishment ?
I don't think so, I think they deserve to be given a fair chance to prove themselves that they can make things right.

There's nothing wrong with boycotting it. Fans have a right not to pay for something and to encourage those that are fellow fans not to purchase it either. Customers have the freedom to do that in an open market. Punishing? No. They got paid to work on the movie. Most of the crew on movies don't get backend or anything like that - they make their money working their hours each day. The extras get their day rate. The actors get ridiculous amounts of money, so no issue there. No, they don't. They had ample opportunity and have repeatedly failed. They either don't know what the fans are interested in (Solo) or give what so many didn't want (The Last Jedi). Some say that entertainment people shouldn't worry what fans want, that fans "shouldn't dictate what they make". However, when you're running a business, you better damn well know what your customers want or you won't stay in business long. It would be like if you operated a bakery. Your customer wants a rocket on the cake for her son's eighth birthday, but you decide to put a cowboy on the cake instead...yeah, the customer won't be paying for that cake. Nor will she be pleased with it.

If Fans want to boycott it themselves then that is their own Right and their own Decision, They have ZERO right to tell others to do it as well though. The Fans that would do that deserve "THE LAST JEDI".

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean they don't have the right. That's not how life works - despite what Disney wants or Episode 8 supporters want either.

I'll probably see it. I'm not particularly a Warsie, but I see most big sci-fi type movies that come out.

No, why should I see the sequel to a movie I don't like?
