Oh. I'm not sure he hates the Aussies. I don't get that impression from him. I don't like the Aussie cricket team at all. All my life I have seen them winning. It's just jealousy on my part. Otherwise, I like Australia and the Australians in most other things. Nice people. And I am an England supporter when it comes to cricket. They are my second fav teams.

Can't understand why Anderson didn't have a runner. A good dozen runs must have been declined because he couldn't sprint down the other end

Seven umpire DRS overturns in this match so far. A record for a test in England. World record is eleven.
450 test wickets for Broad.

Excellent cricket except for bad umpiring. The English crowd is totally alive and you intently watch every ball. Bancroft almost nicked that one.

Aussie rules OK?
Nah. I don't think so. 2 wickets down. Only Smith stands between England having to bat again and an innings defeat

Well, this game is see-sawing. I think England desperately need wickets tomorrow. Smith is the best batsman.Period. This is not up for debate. Fuck off fans of Kohli.

KHAWAJA was looking really good.

KHAWAJA was looking really good. And Smith is looking more attacking than usual. Is England ever going to dismiss him again? I think I have Australia in front as of now.

Warner is almost never going to score on either a good bowling surface or against a good bowling attack when you need him Test - Smith by a distance. ODIs - Kohli by a distance. T-20s - Kohli marginally. Warner is not even in picture in any of the 3 formats.

Should Smith have been given a life ban by England?
2 days to go. Chance of rain.
Australian batsmen fire? A 250 lead looks possible on paper and will make England work. Australian batsmen collapse like in the first innings? A 100 lead will make England have a party. Australian bowlers fire? Lyon is getting turn which should get more dangerous on day 5. English bowlers get rid of Australia cheaply? They went well in the first innings. England batsmen dig in for an easy score or to not lose wickets on day 5? Day 5 traditionally is a spinners picnic.
So many possibilities.

I gotta miss the first session due to family errands, catch you all laters.
Game On!

As cricinfo article rightly says Smith is the key for both the sides. 150 chase would be the par as far as I am concerned.

Aussies are running away with the match, man. I can't see England scoring much in the 4th innings.

It's just not happening for England. Ali just isn't test standard. Australia adding runs easily. Can't really see where any wickets are going to come from. Australia ahead in the game right now IMO.

Smith will be dismissed by Ali any moment now. Ali should be thrown out of the team. I hope he doesn't take wickets so that they keep him again.
