The worst movie I have seen is THE KEEPER--a 1976 Canadian movie starring Tell (father of Liev) Schreiber and Christopher Lee. It was never sold to theaters or tv--and dumped onto Canadian tv instead. A kind of suspense-detective film that is really amateurish/boring. Like they didnt know if they wanted to do a Chinatown like story or a Man with the Golden Gun inspired horror film. The continuity in the editing is pretty bad when a dialogue scene can go like:
"Have there been any murders at the asylum?"
"Yes, seven-but what troubles me is, what if these deaths were actually murders?"
The only professional is Lee--so it is like him doing a high school play. It's bad in a non amusing way. The Lucifer Complex has a lower IMDB rating but more people have seen it than the Keeper. I think TLC is much more entertaining than the Keeper.
Movie 43 sounds like the worst movie ever made that I have not seen.

They Saved Hitler's Brain. It's not even bad in a fun way, it's simply dull and nonsensical. I loved the Nazi staff cars with New York State license plates on them. They couldn't take three minutes to remove them?

MURDERED! And someone's responsible." No way Plan 9 makes the list. Intentionally funny is still funny. And entertaining.

Worst movie I ever sat through was Spice World, although I've tried to sit through a few others and just couldn't bear it. Although Hostel is a terrible movie and I hated it more than just about anything I've ever watched. I never watched another Eli Roth directed movie ever again.

Batman and Robin (1997). Beyond redemption. It clearly wanted to be a modern-day update of the Adam West series, and it failed.

Sticking strictly to that standard, it's a pretty easy choice for me as there are only two movies that stand out in this regard...
-Borat (2006) -Jackass: The Movie (2002)
for the record... there is a total of four movies I gave a 1/10 but the other two (Bruno (2009)/Freddy Got Fingered (2001)) I never technically seen but it's a safe bet for me to give those two movies a 1/10 as I can't stand that type of stuff as Tom Green is that type you just want to beat the crap out of him as he act like a jag-off as I can't stand that type of so-called "comedy". thankfully he's disappeared for a long time now and thankfully I rarely stumble into 1/10 level movies.
NOTE: normally a boring is the worst crime a movie can commit (which defaults to my usual 2/10 rating) but there are rare exceptions where a movie is worse than that in that I more greatly dislike it which is these four movies I listed above, which I reserve 1/10's for.
I disagree with this mindset because... boring is pretty much the worst crime a movie can commit in general as I generally give a movie about 40min (30min+ bare minimum (with rare exception to this rule in that ill go less than 30min)) to be at least continue watching it but if it's total boredom after around that long ill simply turn it off and call it boring and it defaults to my usual 2/10 score. about 160 movies out of the 2,250+ total movies I have seen managed to be turned off before finishing them. but it's still definitely legit for me to rate these movies because once something is like watching paint dry for any length of time there is MAJOR damage done to the overall movie as it's not like I watch 5-10min (or hit a slightly duller stretch and the like) of a movie and turn it off as those who do that I could understand dissing these types of people a bit as they did not give the movie a fair chance as 5-10min is too early to write a movie off as a total failure as I figure even for these kinds of people you got to give it at least 20-25min although my personal standards are a bare minimum of 30min+ (although ill usually try to go around 40 min) with rare exceptions ill go less than 30min. but with that said... you can usually tell whether a movie is headed towards that total boredom level by your general feelings about a movie after say about 15-20min as I figure it generally takes around that much to start to get more of a real feel of a movie.

First ones that come to mind here are: Eden Lake : Horrid movie leaves nowt to imagination. Seen sorta by accident in cinema when couldn't get in to see another . One sees enough foul people in life let alone having to see them as entertainment...unless one is into that sick puppy type of movie. Legends 0f the Fall : Miserable, over-ripe catalogue of misery. Got my wife and I in hysterics when her best mate urged us to watch with her for her 2nd. She was quite bemused and unimpressed by our laughter at this tripe. Big Momma's House ~ Good grief. somebody told me this was a comedy?!! and they made a sequel? !!!!

Really? I thought that was pretty good up until the guy starts jumping on the car. Why do you think it's so bad.

Really? I thought that was pretty good up until the guy starts jumping on the car. Why do you think it's so bad. The leads are annoying and the humor is the same thing as every other “comedy” that doesn’t actually have jokes, but rather weird crude dialogue that misses almost every time. And the attempt at a “moral of the story” at the end is laughable. Probably the only part of the movie that is, actually.

I don't know it was scenes like that that made me like parts of the movie.

I will say though it doesn't come anywhere close to Farrelly brothers other work like dumb and Dumber or kingpin or something about Mary
