The best. Steven Wright. Says the most clever things I have ever heard from any comedian.

Probably Jimmy Carr and Lee Mack
Most of my favorite stand-up comedians are British.

We saw George Carlin in person, in an outdoor arena, and he listened to me!
He cut the act short as it was raining!
I love SINBAD. So does my brother.

I saw Mort Sahl 4 times (talked to him quite a bit, exchanged autographs, one of the highlights of my life), George Carlin twice, Chappelle twice, once shaking his head after the show when I was looking for my car and saw his tour bus. The security came in between, and Dave waived them off and said "Naw man, its cool"

I don't have a fav, all depends on my mood tbh, but I am a huge fan of these comics.
Sarah Millican Jimmy Carr Dara O'Brien Ed Byrne Lee Mack Ross Noble Lee Evans Jack Whitehall Jack Dee Eddie izzard George Carlin Richard Pryor John Bishop Sean Lock Romesh Ranganathan Russel Howard Stewart Francis Al Murray Adam Hills & Chris Rock.
Mostly British because well that's what I am so it makes sense, also not the only people I like, just the ones I can think of off the top of me head without checking out my stand up collection.

#1 forever is Jon Pinette
I also like Norm MacDonald, Julia Holmes, Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Mary Walsh and Joan Rivers and George Carlin when they’re clean.
Oh, I forgot Dame Edna and some British/Spanish comedian I heard once and whose name I forgot.
