Several scenes in SALO are probably the ones I found most disturbing, I had to keep pausing it as it was so intense - but I didn't barf although did feel a bit queasy

The entirety of Nothing But Trouble makes me ill. Dan Akroyds makeup is disgusting and those grown up twins wearing diapers makes me want to vomit. Hostel was bad too though. Nothing But Trouble has got to be the worst comedy I've ever seen.

What makes it worse is the first time I saw this on cable (hbo used to run it all the time) I was recovering from a stomach virus.

It is a pointless film and that all those young actors were willing to degrade themselves in name of so-called art for a pretentious and immoral film-maker is sad. I agree. Salo was just too repellent. Always thought Pasolini made that movie just to get his rocks off.

You might want to try his Trilogy of Life films set in medieval times; The Decameron, The Canterbury Tales and Arabian Nights. Those were good.

No. Artistic horror is too ... artistic. It isn't revolting like real life horror. It's not a matter of looking realistic, it's something else, something I lack the language to describe. But if you look at Jack the Ripper photos versus any horror movie, the real-life photos are far more gruesome.

The James Franco movie called “127 Hours” didn’t make me throw up but it made me put the movie on pause and kill the sound for awhile.
It’s the true story of a hiker who had to cut his lower arm off to survive after it was trapped by a falling boulder.
I knew the arm would be cut off and it would be special effects. They weren’t really going to cut an arm off.
I wasn’t expecting the screaming.
I couldn’t stand it. I stopped the movie and turned the sound off until the arm was off.
Hearing a man scream like that just got to me.
A woman screaming while shown cutting her arm off would probably get to me, too. Not looking to try it.

A scene from a reality show made me gag severely and I gag just thinking about it. A man ate a dead cockroach. A big one. I’m gagging right now.
