I voted maybe. The Bears defense should be oustanding, arguably the best in the NFL, they are great at each level of defense, but their offense has some question marks, they lost their top RB Howard and I’m unsure if they can match his production or what they will do with the rushing game, and I’m not sure if Trubisky has what it takes to be a top tier QB, he’s just been very average in his first 2 years IMO. So I voted maybe, the Bears should have a good team with a great defense but whether they can get to the Super Bowl will depend on if Trubisky can step it up to the next level/how their rushing game is.

I'm highly skeptical of any NFC North team not named Green Bay Packers when it comes to year to year success. Packers are supposed to suck shit this year but the other three teams are notorious for crashing into the shit house after a good season and playoff appearance.

Chuck Pagano is their new DC. Bears fans should prepare themselves for a pretty steep regression.

I’m very curious as to how the Lions will do this season, they are somewhat under the radar and could contend for the playoffs IMO. I don’t think people expect the Packers to “suck shit”, they still have Rodgers and their defense is improving, they just aren’t picked to make the playoffs by most. The whole NFC North will be intriguing.

I say no but I wouldn't be surprised if they got to the Super Bowl but it's mostly because of the defense.
Mitch if he can become a top tier QB than definitely they got a chance but I don't see him taking that step. With the loss of Fangio I expect the defense to regress a bit as well. Even with that regression they'll still be one of the best in the league though. I like David Montgomery but he's unproven at the NFL level so no idea if their running game will be successful. Plus, did they solve their kicking situation?

Vegas is loving all the Browns and Bears love. Apparently the future bets on NFL MVP have had more action on Mayfield and Trubisky than any other players.
Fools-money-parted.

If you're talking about Entity Formerly Known as the Brisbane Bears, who are currently second on the AFL ladder: sure. Why not? If you're talking about that team from Chicago: no chance.

I'm picking them to win the NFC. I'm picking the Chargers to defeat them in the SB.
Having said that, the Bears will require home field advantage (or luck into home field with playoff results*) to get there. It feels like a bunch of 10 & 11 win teams this year in the NFC, no one running away to hide.
