My apologies to Stokes and we have witnessed an epic game once again. England cricket team is the most entertaining sports team in the world. First a miraculous win in the WC and now an unbelievable and insane win in the Ashes against Australia.

I haven't quite got the words just yet. Other than Test Cricket is the greatest sport in the world. It was 12:39 when I sent a text to my buddy at the match and I said if Stokes stays in England have a chance...
Miracles do happen. I'll be back when my head stops buzzing.

Test Cricket is the most nerve-wracking awesome sports in the whole world. I am glad I got value out of spending my time watching the game.

I think England is more likely to win the series from here on. I say Eng wins the series 50% chance Aus wins the series 20% chance Series ends in draw 30% chance

I'd habe 50% draw, 30% England 20% Oz, which gives Australia a 70% chance of retaining the Ashes.
Got a feeling it will either be 3-1 England or 2-2.

Watched the highlights earlier. Just unbelievable.
That was up there in terms of one individual lifting an entire team up by the scruff of it's neck with Maradona Mexico '86 and maybe let's say Gerrard in the Miracle of Istanbul.
Seriously, one of the greatest individual sporting performances of all time.

England were nearly done for the series but his innings changed everything.

Best description I heard was that it was an amalgamation of batting in each format. The hard nosed defence of test cricket in scoring 3 runs off his first 84 balls. The risk free accumulation of ODI cricket in his next 90 balls moving to 61, and then the ramp shots abd unorthodox big hitting of a T20 innings off the last 45 balls.

Leeds? Forgive my ignorance, but aren't the Ashes always played at Lord's?

No, only one match is played at Lords (at least when the series is in England). Each match is played at a different ground.

Makes sense. I don't know where I got that idea.
