I'm currently listening to music recorded by singer-songwriter Wendy Waldman. I became familiar with her work because she's collaborated with some singers and musicians I like, people who speak highly of her musical capabilities and songwriting talent. She's also worked as a backing singer.
Waldman was in the band Bryndle with songwriter Karla Bonoff, Kenny Edwards of the Stone Poneys, and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Gold. They recorded an album in 1970 that went unreleased. I enjoy listening to Waldman's 1970s recordings in particular.
'Woke Up This Morning'
'Studio Song'
'Western Lullaby'
'Strange Company'
'Pirate Ships' - The Cure (written by Wendy Waldman)
