Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, John Hamm, Dakota Johnson. Great cast in a movie that I've never heard of, which suddenly appeared on Sky Cinema. It might have been made as a favour to someone. It's directed by Drew Goddard, who's more of a TV guy, having been heavily involved with ALIAS and LOST. And it's a terrific surprise. OK with that cast it should be but I can't figure out why it's completely unknown to me. Well worth a look www.imdb.com/title/tt6628394/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1

It was a wide release in the US. It sort of came and went, but it got a real release and real promotion here.
Haven't seen it myself yet, but it's on HBO or something now, so I'll give it a shot. Looks a bit like one of those Tarantino rip off movies from the 90s. Could be fun.
I mostly knew Drew Goddard as the director of Cabin in the Woods, which I liked, so I was curious to scope it out anyway.

That's what I was going to say. I saw it in the theatre here in Montreal and quite enjoyed it.

I liked it a lot. Had an old Tarantino feel to it.

Caught it on HBO not too long ago. Started well, looked like it had potential, got too confusing for it's own good, took some stupid turns and ended up garbage.
4/10 to me.
Almost as bad as Hotel Artemis.
