Simple question.
Having watched both versions several times (most recent being last night), I have to say I prefer the Black & White version, by far. Not only does it give the film the desired '50s monster movie feel, but it also helps to mask *some* of the dodgy CGI.
How about you?

I never for a second picked up on the fact that it was supposed to feel like a 50s monster movie when I saw it in color. When I watched it again in B&W, I still didn't feel it.
But like you said, it did make the CGI look better. So kind of a tossup.

Not seen it for ages... might give it a rewatch for October Challenge then, in black and white.
