Disney didn't make too many SW films, they made too many BAD Star Wars films. Nobody complains about too many GOOD movies getting made.

He's really only talking about Solo and it would have done better in winter rather than making it a summer movie.
That said, no one should care about box office.
Only losers talk constantly about movies they aren;t going to like ahead of their release.

Last Jedi was bad and turned a lot of people off from seeing Solo. Solo was just as bad if not worse than The Last Jedi. So i’m not surprised if Rose Of Skywalker makes even less than both movies combined.

Well that was back in 2015 and now here in 2019 George Lucas has obviously changed his mind a bit considering the fact that he is very much involved with "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER".
It was already reported and confirmed that he helped JJ Abrams re-write the 2nd and 3rd Acts of the Movie, He even came up with the idea for bringing back The Emperor.

Not only that. The writing and development of these films are AWFUL. Hey, I actually like "THE FORCE AWAKENS" and "ROGUE ONE".
Having said that....
JJ Abrams and Chris Terrio wrote "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" and then George Lucas later came onboard and helped them re-write the 2nd and 3rd Acts of that Movie so when it comes to the writing and development for it.....They are definitely doing good things.

The new core trilogy has been a major disappointment for me.

Perhaps they did even if I have enjoyed all the newest installments. Give it three or five years, the fans will then be complaining about the delayed release of subsequent films. They're so fickle.

Star Wars takes some risks (Last Jedi) and fans complain.
It's like you almost want to break down and ask "Well what do you guys want then?"
