Just watched this...
Where to begin.
This low budget horror starts off as a standard found footage kind of thing. Young couple goes to live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere for a year to film a nature documentary.
They come across weird stuff like birds hitting the windows, scarecrow stick figure things, and a nearby cabin in the woods with more weirdness there.
The bloke flies to New York to ask experts some stuff about the weirdness they have found. These experts provide the exposition that explains the gist of the story to the audience.
Bloke flies back to his wife in the wilderness.
From here on, things get really weird, real trippy. Time and space becomes mixed up. This combined with the overly dark filming makes it hard to follow. The overly dark filming is full of half seen things if you watch closely.
It does come together in the end, in a pretty novel way, and kind of makes sense.
Very different, but I enjoyed it.
7/10 from me.

Never heard of this. Appreciate review. Did you find it on a streaming service or was it a rental? Just curious as I may want to give it a go for the October challenge.

I had this cued up on Amazom prime at one point, I think. Or maybe Netflix. Either way I never got around to seeing, and now it's not on either one any more. Which means I'll likely never see it.
I appreciate the review, and it's clear that I've probably watched 6 or 7 absolutely terrible found footage movies instead of this one, which evidently was more worthy of a viewing.

Find a copy, get it watched!
