I've seen a couple articles that mentioned this so thought I may as well post one. screenrant.com/spiderman-mcu-exit-plan-marvel-sony/"Expanding upon the details of the latest agreement, THR shared this significant piece of information about Spider-Man's future. They've shared that while some believe the deal could be extended again, others think this could be part of Spidey's actual MCU exit. There is reportedly a sense from some that Feige "seems to be plotting an endgame that will wrap up Peter Parker's story in the MCU." This would give Sony full control of the character once more."

They should at least have it on paper in case they're sick of this Sony BS.
Personally, I wouldn't mind it. The buzz around MCU Spider-Man isn't even really all about him, it's about seeing him with X-Men & whatnot. That's maybe not a strong enough argument to string along standalone films. That could be another 6-10yrs.

This is the reason the mcu concept is trash and should never have gone past phase 1. its all about fake buzz of seeing this characters chatting not about the actual quality of the film as stabdalones. this is what x-men 2 and spiderman 2 have that MCU lacks.
I hope they write him out

I dont want to believe it, but it does sound like thats what they are planning. At least until they can get the rights back completely.

Why? Because almost every other franchise failed to do the MCU concept? Or is it because Fox was never brave enough to attempt a shared universe?
