My maternal grandfather was from Lithuania but he wasn't much of a beer drinker, he liked whiskey. He also practiced the old religion, he said the Roman Catholic religion was for women. He was quite a character, the neighborhood kids called him Genghis Khan, he had Mongolian blood in him and looked it instead of the typical blond, tall Lithuanian, his brother that also came to live in the U.S. looked Lithuanian. I guess Grandpa was a throwback.

Is that pint on the left a fail or is he just breaking in a new barrel?

Welp, we're making plans right now to go to Ireland next year, so I'll be hitting Guinness and a couple breweries and a couple distilleries. This picture is making me very thirsty.

Interesting, I've never seen Lithuanian beer for sale in the US. Can anyone recommend brands?
The very best mug of beer I've ever had was in Amsterdam. It was Amstel on tap.
