Justified. First half of S1 wasn't very good but it really improved in the last half.

Agents of SHIELD. It started off cheesy and not very well written and became a pretty awesome show by season 2 and on.

Black Sails started out slow and boring, but picked up over time.

Black Sails started out slow and boring, but picked up over time. Great one. It was a guilty pleasure in season one and turned amazing by season two.

Agents of SHIELD. It started off cheesy and not very well written and became a pretty awesome show by season 2 and on. This was gonna be my vote. I was just on the verge of giving up on the show when Captain America: The Winter Soldier came out... and changed the dynamic of the show in one episode.

Star Trek: The Next Generation. Gee, I thought it started out well but about the middle of the first season went steadily down.

Star Trek: The Next Generation. Gee, I thought it started out well but about the middle of the first season went steadily down. I thought the first couple of seasons of TNG were weak, the middle years were strong, and the last season was pretty bad. Maybe not TOS Season 3 bad, but TNG Season 7 has what I consider some notable stinkers. Season 7 had Phantasms, which I nicknamed "Counselor Cake". It also had Genesis, which I nicknamed "Spider-Man" because at one point Lieutenant Barclay turns into one. At least the finale, All Good Things... was good.

First season of TNG was terrible. Okay, maybe not terrible, but Patrick Stewart was carrying the show.

Night Court. Although it had some good moments, it didn't really hit its stride, in my opinion, until the gathering of the "classic" ensemble consisting of Harry Anderson (Judge Harry T. Stone), John Larroquette (Dan Fields), Markie Post (Christine Sullivan), Richard Moll (Bull), Marsha Warfield (Roz Russell), and Charles Robinson (Mac Robinson).

Breaking Bad. First series was crap and the last unnecessary but in between it was great.

The Office and Parks & Rec both started on shaky ground in their first seasons before really hitting great strides in later seasons.
They both had pretty crappy final seasons tho.

Parks & Rec The Leftovers I am just starting The Office and I am not enjoying it, so hopefully it gets better It does. Season 1 of the office is weak. Season 2 is where it starts hitting its stride, imo.
