this decade and the past decade has given us so many horror remakes what do you think may receive the remake treatment In the next decade?
if I had to guess id say possibly another remake of Amityville or When A Stranger Calls or maybe even another Omen remake im sure Freddy and Jason will both receive another remake

Given Hollywood's latest craze for adapting and re-adapting Stephen King novels, Christine is not too far off.

That was one of the WORST adaptions of Kings books. If it had been called something else I probably would have liked it way more. After I saw the movie I had to reread the book again cause of how angry I was with the movie.

Jaws. If they remade Hitchcock classics then in time, they will remake Spielberg classics.

Probably Silver Bullet or Christine... or other Stephen King properties where people say the source was better.
Some of the others are more likely to have way-too-late sequels than remakes.

The movie pretty much just deleted the supernatural stuff with LeBay being in the car with Arnie and hit all the other beats. Am I missing something?

It lost some of the best parts of the book. I also could be wrong, but I certainly never remembered Christine being able to fix herself in the book. Or at least not how it was described in the movie.

See, I can understand your POV, but for me, I was glad the LeBay stuff was left off. But that may be a case of having read the novel after the movie. It's been a while, but I seem to remember Christine was able to self-repair in the novel as well.

A new version of The Howling could be cool. 🐺 With today’s makeup artists, sure. I don’t know if it’d beat the horrific transformation scenes from the original film. But it’d still probably look cool. But then again, they’d probably just use cgi unfortunately.

They get so much hate from fans of the originals, myself included, often before they have even been seen. A few have proved me wrong. There are some inventive things happening in some of them. I would appreciate a Howling remake that did its own thing while still sticking to the story. You know CGI will be involved, but if done right you might not even mind.
