I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes of the show, that was enough.

I personally really loved Revenge all the way through. I'd happily give the reboot a try. However, I think it would be better off on streaming than broadcast. The original Revenge struggled to get 4 seasons. I'm not sure it ultimately fit will on broadcast TV. I doubt a reboot would do much better.

I'll try to be objective and put aside the fact that I consider REVENGE to be one of the worst shows of all time. Reading this premise, it sounds like this sequel will be just a rehash of the original series, which in turn was already a remake (THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO). What's the point? There isn't even that much to take from in order to create ongoing content (the original only lasted 4 seasons and it still felt stretched out).

They screwed up when they brought her father back from the dead. The whole point of the show had been Emily/Amanda avenging her father's death... and then he's not dead at all.

I heard the character of Nolan Ross may be returning. There was talk of a spinoff for him before the show ended, but nothing came of it until now.
