I can see why she reminds you of Qualley but the shape of the face is a bit different.

I can see why she reminds you of Qualley but the shape of the face is a bit different. Wow, she was so lovely. I think her face shape in the pics you posted are much closer to Qualley's than to what Adjani wound up looking like after she started messing with her looks. That's what struck me. I hadn't before seen a pic of her pre-La Reine Margot, that I remember. Now that I'm looking at her filmography, I see she was the sexy woman in Ishtar, which I saw as a kid, but I didn't know until now that that was Adjani.

Totally agree that she was infinitely more pretty before she began messing with her looks.
First picture is from L'été meurtrier/One deadly summer (1983). Sure she is naked half the movie (it's french) but there is way more to it than that. Even if it doesn't hold that well compared to today's standards it's quite interesting because there is mystery and the narration switch from one character to the other as the story goes on. Also, the last 20-30 minutes is just one big crescendo that more than makes up for the rest. No point in posting the trailer, it doesn't really say or bring anything.
Second picture is taken from Luc Besson Subway (1985) also starring Christophe Lambert, Jean-Hugues Anglade and Jean Reno (among others). It's a weird movie that doesn't age that well but she has some striking looks in that movie.
The others are taken from older promotions and movies.
She was gorgeous in La Reine Margot.
And with her Ishtar crew:

And with her Ishtar crew: Naked, half the time, in a French film? Nahhhh, can't be. Lol. Carole Bouquet is my all time favorite French actress. I really like Emmanuelle Seigner and Sophie Marceau and how all three seem to do nearly nothing to fwoop up their looks as they age. That part is just a bonus for me as I find them to be talented and charming women. Marion Cotillard is an exceptionally talented actress, of course, but she really has gone back and forth on her face to a distracting extent, in recent years (and her boobs before that); if it weren't for that, she might rival Bouquet as my actrice française favori.

She reminds me of Molly Ringwald there but with Ally Sheedy’s hair.

She's was a real doll! I fell in love with her when I viewed Herzog's "Nosferatu"

From those listed, Bouquet might still be the one who looks the best: Fantastique. And her voice, I must find a good clip of her speaking ANY language. This advertisement was it when I was a kid. Hyper-chic, super-cool, hyper-cool, super-chic... I promise I do not work for Chanel, but I really love that this video of her is from this year, that she's speaking off the cuff and that her diction is so exemplary yet so natural.

Chanel made some pretty chic commercials over the years.
Here are two more with Bouquet:
Somehow I really like the feel of those early 80's to early 90's commercials where the elegance is there, just like in any other era, but they added the Jet-set lifestyle and somewhat carefree attitude on top of the colors from that time. Stuyvesant made some similar ads about the lifestyle of smokers:
(couldn't find it on youtube)
But back to Bouquet, her diction is rather typical of the era in which she grew up. Back then, it was important and it's something you can easily notice if you listen to french singers about her age compared to what is made today.

Ahhh, the life. Let's all smoke Stuyvesants and then douse ourselves in Chanel No 5 to cover the ashtray stench! (Although I might not say No to a Davidoff or a Dunhill on the rare occasion). Any singers in particular? I know Nina Simone who was Eunice Kathleen Waymon from North Carolina. She's my favorite French singer.

There wasn't someone in particular but it also depends on what you like.
Of course you can listen to some Piaf (since you might have been the movie about her with Cotillard):
or Charles Aznavour (another legend, who actually got help from Piaf at the beginning of his career).
Or Bourville (old timer) and Elsa (child-teenager star from the 80's-90's) who got added to the clip (with today's technology) to make this duo:
Then you got the Dassin, Bécaud, Dalida, Brel, Hallyday.
I really like En chantant by Michel Sardou
Or Claude Dubois:
