Frank has been spot on with his replies, disappointed he didn't have an answer for this.

A’s? White Sox? Reds? Mets? Pirates? Angels? Probably one of them for various reasons. Marlins I guess.

Some teams are perpetually bad due to poor ownership or the small market excuse, an excuse that I don’t buy as all these teams are owned by zillionaires regardless of where they’re located. They just don’t WANT to spend money. So yes it’s probably the Marlins, but a team like the Pirates has a legit claim. I want to say the Angels because if I owned them I’d throw every cent I had at building around Trout. I’d hire a million scouts to build up the farm system. I’d go full-on process on them so that they could compete before Trout becomes an alcoholic like Mantle. Having Trout on these Angels would be like drafting Peyton Manning but not building around him.

Jerry Reinsdorf, who coincidentally also owns the Bulls, one of the worst teams in the NBA. Last off-season the front office said “the money will be spent” and did absolutely nothing to get Machado or Harper. He is notoriously cheap. And then there’s this: www.google.com/amp/s/ontapsportsnet.com/2019/10/07/jerry-reinsdorf-second-is-best/amp/
