Eugene Melnyk - Ottawa Senators. Has he really been pretty bad ?
I'm a Fan of the Kings and Ducks so I really don't know much about what happens with Ottawa's Team.

I don't really understand what would even make someone a "bad owner", as they are not really involved with personnel or coaching decisions, anyway.
The only thing I can think of is dictating a low payroll, and that would only really happen in baseball, and those teams are usually the ones with super low revenue.

Cardinals late owner Bill Bidwill once said that he never wanted his team to win the Super Bowl because he would have to pay his players too much money. Norman Braman was a notoriously bad owner. When all pro Mike Quick retired, they had a ceremony for him during halftime of a game. Braman, on behalf of the Eagles, gave Quick a golf bag. No clubs. Just the bag and he would also charge his players for socks.
