Taking a quick look through my favorite movies, the ones that come to mind the most, the following 10 or so should sum it up... -Road to Perdition (2002) - the Tommy Gun scene where Tom Hanks kills Paul Newman in the rain at night with the Tommy Gun. this also happens to be a great example of great cinematography paired with a strong moment and solid score in a movie) -Road to Perdition (2002) - the end scene where Jude Law shoots Tom Hanks in the back and proceeds to take his picture -Pulp Fiction (1994) - the end scene in the diner with Sam Jackson holding his gun on Tim Roth and giving his speech -Lord of War (2005) - the general end area starting from their one last where Nicolas Cage's brother(Jared Leto) gets killed from about there on forward. -Braveheart (1995) - the scene where Mel Gibson discovers Robert the Bruce crossed him when he removed his helmet etc. -Angel-A (2005) - the scene in the mirror. -Running Scared (2006) - the pedophile scene. -Scarface (1983) - the general end area of the movie where Tony goes off. -John Wick (2014) - the club scene with the song Think (by Kaleida) playing. -The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) - the scene where Henry Cavill is taking his time with his sandwich/drink while Armie Hammer is in hot water trying to escape from the bad guys in the boat. -Open Range (2003) - the build up moments before the main shootout and the shootout. p.s. my Road to Perdition examples also happen to be my 'go to' movie for great cinematography to because not only do they look great, but happen to be great moments and the movie has a solid score as it blends those things very well. paulslaugh ; for mentioning The Hustler (1961) which is the movie/role Paul Newman was born for. but speaking of that movie, one scene I like is the scene at the picnic where Newman describes his passion for the game basically.
