It would be fun to get some decade-in-review threads started. Yes, there's still a few calendar weeks left in the 2019 season, but with a whole decade of games to look back on, which stand out for you?
Although I hated the results of both, hard to look past Super Bowls 49 and 52. 49 just had it all; two titanic teams who were the finest of their respective conferences (and in some ways, perhaps the definitive franchises of the decade) going at it in a tremendously even bout; two respected veteran head coaches with Belichick going up against the man he replaced; two top tier QBs with Russell Wilson and that other guy; one of the most shocking endings in league history. What a game.
52, although certainly not likely to be appreciated by fans of defense (nary a stop to be found throughout), featured the GOAT at the height of powers in a record-breaking performance and he still lost to a mercurial, impossible Nick Foles showing. With the Philly special, Brady's failed catch, and the constant scoring at both ends, this one offered, for lack of a better word, and one of screamingtreefrogs' favorite sporting elements: terrific theater. It was just pure spectacle on top of an incredibly thrilling game.
Any others that came to mind, post 'em here.

I thought of that one and it was a great one no doubt, but essentially, it was more like two blowouts in one game.

Yeah it's hard for me to answer this question because pretty much all of my answers would be Pats games. Worse, I don't consider losses to be 'great games,' which I admit is a real shame because some of Brady's best performances have come in losses. SB 52 like you mentioned, but also the 2015 AFC Championship game in Denver, where he was hammered by the defense all day (the O line coach was fired after this game) and still led a TD drive late in the 4th (including a huge 4th and 10 pass to Gronk) and came up short on the 2 pt try to tie it.

I’m usually terrible at remembering specific game from more than a season or 2 ago but two stand out for Philly reasons. Super Bowl 52 and the Eagles - Vikings NFC Championship game that preceded it are probably the two greatest recent Eagles games from a local point of view.
Off the top of my head, while I didn’t like the end result, the Patriots - Seahawks Super Bowl was a fun game to watch.

I would've fired him before that. Of course, all he did was run Belichick's '60 minutes of prevent defense' system. This is the first year probably since 2004 where the defense is actually good enough to make plays and be the difference in the game, week in and week out.
