Game of Thrones would be #1 I suppose, in spite of that disastrous last season. Breaking Bad Better Call Saul The Walking Dead has overstayed its welcome but was great TV for several years The Expanse Black Mirror The Last Kingdom Daredevil Jessica Jones Stranger Things Life in Pieces The Good Place
Two Spanish series that I think are available on Netflix: El Ministerio del Tiempo (time travel) La Casa de Papel (The Money Heist – 1st season was great and a huge international success)
And last but not least, a few series from Quebec: 19-2 Unité 9 Lâcher Prise Le Pays d’en Haut

I don’t watch much tv anymore, at least not shows that occur in seasons, but of what I did watch and can remember here’s what I liked: Breaking Bad - Nothing came close to it this decade, and the only show I’ve ever liked as much was Six Feet Under, which aired in the previous decade. Altered Carbon - Sci Fi series based on Richard Morgan’s book. It’s one of the very rare instances where I’ve liked a show / movie better than its source novel. This series really stuck in my brain and I want to give it a rewatch. American Vandal season 1 - Parody in the style of a true crime series, this is some of the funniest shit I’ve seen in a long time, and it actually has a mystery you want to see play out. The Boys - One of the best takes on the superhero genre I’ve seen. Dark and darkly funny. It’s Justice League if it were run by Instagram. The Superman character, Homelander, is brilliantly portrayed. Also liked Season 1 of True Detective, various seasons of Homeland, most of season 1 of Mrs. Maisel, Chicago PD for a networky cop show, Stranger Things. I liked altered Carbon a ton...was hoping for a season 2.

Don't watch a lot of tv.
Best this decade I've watched has been In the Line of Duty Parks and Recreation The Good Place Breaking Bad/ Better Call Saul Insiders (politics show hosted by Barrie Cassidy) Speers (another great politics show hosted by IMO the best politucal journalist in Oz) On the Couch (AFL analysis, would really like an NRL equivalent but I just can't take any of their talking heads seriously)

I don't get into too many shows, but GoT, Walking Dead, and Justified are the first that come to mind.

A bit of a trickier category as some shows will have great seasons and subpar seasons so the idea of favorites and then an also-rans list works well here. My faves: Breaking Bad Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Mad Men Fargo - agree with you wholeheartedly, the first 2 seasons are among the best things I've ever seen on TV Succession - the 2nd season was the best thing on TV this year Game of Thrones It's Always Sunny Rick and Morty The Leftovers Better Call Saul I'm going to throw on Watchmen, even though it's only 6 episodes in. It's been brilliant so far, some of the best storytelling I've seen in recent years. Tough to lump it in with the best of the decade for obvious reasons but so far so good. Also rans: Homeland - the 4th season is up there for top seasons of the decade, the 2nd half of it in particular. The Americans - the 1st and last season are both A+, the finale was an absolute gut punch. The rest all kinds blends together for me. Billions - 2nd season was great. True Detective - 1st season is obviously genius. 2nd season was horrible. Didn't see the 3rd. Boardwalk Empire Silicon Valley The Crown Watchmen has been on another level. It is seriously genius. The writing is fantastic.

You will be happy to know that season 2 is coming to Netflix on February 27th.

White Collar - Started in 2009 but I'm counting it as it ended in 2014.
Daredevil
Punisher
Haunting of Hill House
American Vandal
Archer
Vice Principals - Love that this show got mentioned a couple times above. I felt like I was the only one watching it.
Brockmire
Silicon Valley
Hollywood Game Night - I love game shows
American Horror Story - Certain seasons are good, others pretty bad.
Game of Thrones - Fuck you final season.
I never got into Breaking Bad or Mad Men. I tried but just never cared to keep watching.

People dog Game of Thrones too much. For Six seasons it was the best show ever put on screen. I know it went downhill after that, but six seasons of perfection has to count for something.

Come on now. Perfection? An incredibly produced, spectacularly entertaining spectacle for sure, but the writing frequently showed serious shortcomings even before they ran out of source material to mine from.

Still better than any other show ever produced besides maybe Breaking Bad. Some of Season 5 was okay, but Season 1-4 and 6 were as perfect as TV can get.
