Question.
Why did Dale leave Herschel's farm after the prison fell to The Governor?
After the prison fell, Dale and Andrea set up at Herschel's farm with the rest of the survivors.
Abraham and his trio show up, convince everyone it's safer to keep mobile because of herds.
However, a few days later they take refuge in a farm near the gas station off I-75 while Rick and Abe go with Carl to his old Police Station. Dale tells Andrea he's staying at that farm, they'll be safer in a small place no one wants than to go somewhere where they'll be taken over by people.
Why leave Herschel's farm at all? Why go with Abe and co. if only a few days later you're like, "nah, I'm good. Let's stay at this new farm we know nothing about"..?!? At least say you're going back to Herschel's farm. You know the area and it has crops.

Wasn't Hershel's farm before the prison? I stopped watching The Walking Dead right after the prison assault actually, although I did see Negan's sadistic melee on the group much later on. I just saw one episode last night by chance where Rick and co were trying to recruit soldiers, presumably to go after Negan. I still can't get into this show though.

In the graphic novels they go back to Herschel's farm after the prison assault.

I have heard that the TV show is greatly different to the graphic novels. Wasn't Hershel's farm razed to the ground after they left? I forget now, lol. I thought they should have rebuilt the prison, if anything, that place was more secure than most other societies had, and it had quite a bit of land and supplies as well.

The TV series makes more sense in this aspect. Herschel's farm is torn apart by a walker (zombie) herd. Thousands swarm it and destroy it. So when they arrive at the Prison, it's a big deal, they NEED the prison, they have nowhere else to go. In the graphic novel, Herschel kicks them out (afraid of outsiders) and they happen upon the prison. They go back and tell Herschel the prison has walls and it's safer, they take him in. But when the Governor from Woodbury attacks the prison, they go back to Herschel's farm. Why didn't they go back instead of fighting to the death? It seemed like a plot hole.

You mean why didn't they go back and rebuild Hershel's farm? I think it was just too unsecured. They could have built up though, so I'm not sure. Like I said, I stopped watching after the prison assault, so I don't know what they did, or why they decided to do it. Sorry, I'm not of much help here dude.

I don't remember much about Dale or Herschel in the comics to be honest.

I remember almost nothing about comic book Dale and Herschel. I remember how Dale died, that's about it.

Thoughts on Negan's long run?
Loved him at first, hated that Rick kept him alive, now I don't think I could live without him. He's entertaining as fuck.

What do you think what you think is the long-term plan for Negan?
I remember that I was pretty angry when Rick decided to lock him up and took on this "we don't kill" crap. If anyone deserves to die, it was Negan. I'm not even sure how Maggie can remain friends with Rick because of it. But I'll be damned, I do find the character to be extremely entertaining. Why do you think that he is the one whom they decided to keep around? What do you think the future of the character is?
