So everyone's just immediately on-board calling these folks "blood brothers"? (Sigh)... I mean, it was one thing when Cisco used it as an offhand remark, but Cecile using it too and so matter of factly, it seems more coordinated. And is it really the best you can come up with? What about Rambies? You know, Ramsey's zombies? Or, I don't know, anything else?
Yeah, okay, they're "innocents" - true. But something tells me non lethal force isn't going to be much help.
Some of the elements, like Cecile and whats-her-name work okay, at least from a zombie/horror cliche standpoint. The rest of it, I'm just so bored.
Obviously they're going to get Barry back by the end of the episode, if only by virtue of Crisis in a few days, never mind the series as a whole. But even beyond that, I just don't feel like they're earned the stakes of this issue with Ramsey and his
Cisco and Iris have a great deal more faith in Barry's leadership abilities or general intelligence than I would, based on his past track record...
So naturally the one mildly good part with Cecile ends up going nowhere; they're being chased by zombies, until they're not.
How the fuck did Ramsey just randomly turn himself into a giant skull creature? I think Team Flash needs to summon the ultra-thunder megazord.
And how the fuck did Barry...I don't even know what; project a hallucination of Ramsey's mom???
Can Barry see her to, that he knows she's there? Either way, Ramsey is right, it's not real; it's all in either Ramsey and/or Barry's head. And if Barry's disconnected from the goo, how is he implanting anything into Ramey's mind?
Well, the only thing in all of this that makes sense is that Barry could use Ramsey's infection to spread self-doubt back to Ramsey - that seems to be his other super power.
Seriously, Crisis starts at exactly mid-night in Central City? And what time zone exactly is Central City in, because I'm fairly certain there would significant portions of the world that had already crossed into the next day hours ago. But hey, it's 12 am Mountain Time, time for the skies to get funky.
For that matter, I hope Team Flash had time to take a nap or something, because they're all over 30; and the last thing you want to do is save the universe while sleep deprived.
