I'll bet Sting wasn't really in the Sahara when he wrote "Tea in the Sahara," either. And besides, I'll bet plenty of people dream of a white Christmas in LA.

White Christmas was written by Irving Berlin who was born in Russia and, as a little boy, moved with his family to New York where he spent a lifetime. Don't take our gems away from us and appropriate them in the name of L.A.

Imagine how half of the planet (where Christmas arrives during the Summer) feels listening to those songs.

Imagine how half of the planet (where Christmas arrives during the Summer) feels listening to those songs. We get a slight dusting of snow here every few years. White Christmas? Keep dreaming. Fucking Christmas songs in every supermarket and store.
