Just found out about it. It's on a service called Spectrum which I had never heard about. Anyone watching it? I liked the show during its original run, although not as much as I liked Seinfeld or Frasier. I am pretty sure I missed many episodes, perhaps even entire seasons.

I heard it was coming back and then nothing more, I assumed it was still production.

You have to be a Spectrum customer to watch it on their Spectrum On-Demand service. I get my Cable and internet from Spectrum but I have not watched it yet.

I just finished and all I can say is meh. Maybe its me because the show is almost the same, 18 years later. Daughter Mable has just left for college at NYU which is within easy walking distance from the Buchman's still fabulous apartment. Most of the original characters are there, including Jamie's sister Lisa who is still as loopy as ever. Ira and Mark are there with new partners. Murray the dog has of course passed on to be replaced by a so-far charmless wolfhound(I think) named Walter. Paul's mom is living in a lovely assisted living facility but she's still as acerbic as always. What's missing? For me, the humor is too forced. The cast is trying too hard. I didn't laugh once. There are more episodes coming later this week and I'll be there hoping for a least a smile.

Bringing these shows back seldom works. You'd think after the resounding flop of the Murphy Brown reboot, somebody would have paid attention and put this idea back on the shelf.

Thanks. I'll make sure not to get Spectrum.

Wait......I hadn't heard about this at all (and was a big fan of the show back in the day). Is the entire (original) cast back (other than, of course, the older cast members who have since died), in particular, Helen Hunt.....and (I'm assuming) this is only available to Spectrum cable customers ?? SAVE FERRIS

SAVE FERRIS Just about the entire cast is back including the super Mr. Wicker who is easily 90 something buy he looks and sounds great. Yes, you have to be a Spectrum customer to see the show. Apple TV is also showing a few shows I would love to see but since I don't have any of their products, I guess that leaves me out in the cold.

Good news for the fans. Do any of these comeback shows succeed, though?
One of those 90s series I just couldn't get into. Though Helen Hunt is very cute.

It turns out that it is airing here in Canada on one of the cable channels that I have, so I am able to watch after all. Saw the first episode last night and I had some good laughs.

I caught part of it. Helen Hunt has definitely had some work done. It's distracting. Especially considering they were talking about how a person ages over 20 years.
