Not that I pay attention to that stuff, but I had no idea she was with David Lee. Anyway good for her, at least she won a slam before retiring.

Wimp. Roger Federer has had a family for years and it never stopped him.

Wimp. Roger Federer has had a family for years and it never stopped him. ...as do millions of people with a regular jobs, and no money to hire a cleaning woman or nanny, and with a strict time schedule commanded by their job(s).

Those people are called fools.

Van Halen I is the greatest debut album in rock history. Better than Zeppelin, better than Appetite for Destruction.

Well, we won't be seeing her in Montréal in 2020.

She'll be back.
She will start a family, like Clijsters did, and then realize she misses the game and come back for a few years.

Good luck to her, from the few tennis biographies I have read most players have a pretty awful adolescence fuelled by parents who are doing it more for themselves than their kids. Leads at best to a love/hate relationship with the sport. If she's made decent money than she has a great future to look forward to.

You seem to be making the old internet mistake of taking your opinion as fact. As are you apparently. Not at all, were posting a selection of great debut albums who always come into contention when people discuss best debut albums. My opinion would be for Patti Smith but I wouldn't be so arrogant as to state it is the best, merely my favourite.

awesome. after all this time he's still killin' it with the ladies - You know there are people who actually think Van Halen was better with Sammy Hagar? Those people are called fools. Opinions vary, but I do think Balance is one of the best rock albums of all time. 5150 is a great album too. They wrote a lot of great songs in the Hagar era. But it's hard to beat 1984 and I. Although you could make a decent argument that Hagar is 'technically' a better singer than Roth. Roth was good at squealing, his style of singing fit the VH really well but beyond that... his solo career tanked. Ohh and good luck to Wozniacki.

They did make some good music with Sammy, but the sound and feel of Van Halen just felt more natural with Diamond Dave on the vocals. And it's funny, as the years have gone on I've come to appreciate the albums in between the debut and 1984. Lots of good deep cuts.
