Mid 90s I had a chance to see Sonic Youth and Beastie Boys in a small venue in East Vancouver and didn't go.

Woodstock, but I was six. I doubt my parents would have let me go

Rolling Stones in Baltimore ca 1966. Too young and broke. But I did see the Beatles in '66.
John Lee Hooker ca 1978 at the Bayou in Washington, DC. No one I knew was interested.

There's been quite a few that I regret flaking on, but the one I regret the most is Ray Charles. He played here in Santa Cruz in the mid-90's, and I did not go.
I can be very dumb at times.

Led Zeppelin in New Orleans, 1977. Bought a ticket, then Robert Plant's five year-old son died of an illness. The tour was cancelled.

The Get Up Kids in 2000 or 2001, not sure which. I was at my girlfriend's parent's house and her brother asked if I was coming. I flaked because I was feeling lazy. They broke up shortly after.
Also, The Misfits on my birthday about 10 years ago.
In my defense, back in 2000 I was going to a fuck ton of shows. Ass loads. I've forgotten some of them there were so many. So I wanted to stay in that night. It happens. And a Jerry Only led Misfits isn't really the Misfits anyway, so...

I had tickets to go see Suede and I bailed out because I was all messed up. I don't regret not seeing the band, who are one of my favourite Britsh bands, so much as I regret not being able to go with this girl who was one of my housemates at the time. Having said that, I gave her friend the ticket so it wasn't wasted. But I was really flakey around that time and getting way too caned for my own good.

Turned down a free ride and ticket for Zap in 75, and did the same with Dylan at Blackburn's. Even repeated the Zep mistake for Knebworth.

Morrissey, he was practically walking distance from my place, but I couldn't find anyone to go with.

I got stoned on the way to a Led Zeppelin gig in Sydney. We missed half of it.
I only recently found out that Tina Arena was Evita in a long season of a Sydney Opera Company production in 2018 in Sydney and Melbourne. Check out the youtube of her singing Don't Cry for me Argentina. She has a better voice than Madonna and at 50 is still hot.

I missed my one chance to see Zeppelin when Bonham died.

I should have seen Zep, Floyd, and the Who when I had multiple chances.
I decided not to go see Lucky Dube over concern that the place would be full of cigarette smoke. He was killed by a carjacker not long after.
Had tickets to see the Allman's, but they canceled when Berry Oakley died.
Was at a Neil Young bridge benefit on the grass, where it was really cold. My gf was beyond frozen and we had to leave. On the way out, a couple offered us 3rd row seats, which we declines. Wasn't until later that I realized how warm it would have been there by the lights.

Springsteen at Soldier Field in 85 Born In The USA tour. Saw him in 88 on Tunnel Of Love indoors but my friends said it was not the same.

I had a chance to see Earle Thomas Conley and wanted to go, but I was sick at the time, the kind of sick that...I'll spare you the graphic details.

Back in the mid-90s, Odds, Change of Heart and The Tragically Hip played at North Bay Memorial Gardens in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Then again, I was a 'starving student' at the time, so I doubt I had the money to get a ticket, anyway.
Also, with regards to The Tragically Hip:
It was announced that Gord Downie, the lead singer, had terminal brain cancer. So, the band decided to go on a cross-Canada farewell tour. The last stop of the tour was in Kingston, Ontario = the band's hometown.
CBC announced they were going to air the final concert.
That weekend, my father and I went to visit my brother, my sister-in-law, my niece and my nephew at their home. My brother mentioned it, and I didn't think much of it at the time. He said the town was going to air the concert on a big screen downtown. He talked me into it.
Unfortunately, a change of plans prevented us from going downtown. So, we (except my niece and nephew) watched it at my brother's place.
I'm SO glad I watched it - also as a 'where were you when they played the concert' moment.
