I’m better than the average person when it comes to drawing cartoons but if you only compare me to cartoonists I’d have to say I’m average.

And have you ever known anybody with exceptional abilities ?? SAVE FERRIS mine is good to very good but my cousin is exceptional. Like a real artistic genious. It takes some effort on my part not to envy her but to endlessly love and support her and learn from her. Plus I know two musicians who are in a similar level of amazingness, one is so effing talented other people who play the same instrument routinelly burst into tears (and/or bouts of envy) when they watch him play. The talents some people are given plus when combined with hard work, its crazy. All us mere mortals can do is marvell in their art and cherish and enjoy their gifts. |

I've taken thousands of B&W & color photos, mostly random shots. Using my photos as guides, I've done scores of acrylic renderings of what I've photographed on jessoed formica boards. Also numerous pastel drawings and portraits of family members as well as charcoal pencil B&W sketches.
I have no idea just how good I am. I do it for enjoyment.

Yes but it's not a barrel of laughs much of the time.
Artistic ability and mental issues seem to be bedfellows.

Sorry I could be wrong, but that's what I take from it.
If what you were saying wasn't intended as an insult, than I apologize. Maybe I misunderstood it. It happens to me a lot, lol.
I just generally perceive anyone talking to me ever, they think i'm stupid. That might be the problem.
