or Music (Artist/album) or TV Show aaaw great question. 1. movie: pretty much any Adam Sandler, like the wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore, 50 First dates or Just go With it. if tou hate Sandler (thwn go to hell of course :-)) then try Knight and Day by Tom Cruise or any Mission Impossible or the terminator/Aliens saga 2. Show - Two and Half Men works lime a charm, Frasier, Curb your Enthusiasm or some episodes of driends. 3. Music - hmm thats tough. Probably early Beatles. And how about you?

I actually don't have one, lest something I really love become attached to the blues.
Having said that, Wes Anderson movies always win.

I tend to go for sitcoms when I'm feeling down as opposed to movies.

Movie - Love and Death (1975)
Music - Yessongs album (Heart Of The Sunrise)
Tv show - South Park Heartily agree with the first two. Yes and Woody Allen usually have a cheering-up effect. Amazing that when I saw the thread title I thought of two films that were actually in the thread, Duck Soup and Love and Death. I actually thought of Take the Money and Run as well. A good laugh will always lift your spirits. You know what else does, a McDonald's cheeseburger. Not kidding. Something in it seems to affect the brain.

That's funny because earlier today (Mon) I stopped on the way home from making funeral arrangements and had a McD cheeseburger meal. But I wasn't feeling depressed. It was just convenient. And I hit the jackpot, too, because it was hot and soft. I tend to joke around a lot here, but I'm being serious this time.

TV Show: Pushing DaisiesMusic: Saint Etienne or The Radio Dept. I enthusiastically endorse these music choices, two of my favorites. I'm actually wearing a Tiger Bay t-shirt today. Have you seen this? I've been meaning to watch Pushing Daisies for a long time now.

This is actually a good question. With how much I love movies you would think that I'd have a go to movie to cheer me up. But I really don't. Maybe Star Wars? I guess.
I do have aspirational movies though... Whenever I think about movies that inspire me, not story-wise, but for sheer technical achievement and bravura film making I go to...
Blade Runner Lawrence of Arabia Inception 2001: A Space Odyssey Silence of the Lambs Se7en Fight Club E.T. Raiders of the Lost Ark Raging Bull Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior Cinema Paradiso Wings of Desire
